The Interactive Web Map application has been tested and is most compatible with the Google Chrome browser but also has been tested and is compatible with Internet Explorer 11, Edge, and Mozilla Firefox. Other browsers (including mobile versions) and older versions of these browsers may not be compatible. Google Chrome is a freeware browser that can be downloaded and installed from

To navigate around the screen and zoom in/out, use either the scroll wheel on your mouse or click on the +/- button in the top left hand side of the map. You may turn on certain layers using the Table of Contents shown at the far left hand side of the screen. Click on the box to the left of the layers you would like to turn on. You may minimize the Table of Contents to maximize the map on your screen by clicking on the << button just to the right center of the Table of Contents.

Address Search

If you would like to zoom to your address, click on the Address Search icon at the top right hand side of the screen and type your address into the box. Note that some addresses may not be searchable and you may have to manually locate your property.

Layer Visibility

If a layer in the Table of Contents is turned on but is not displaying on the map, it may be because the layer is scale dependent. Parcels within 500 ft., Airports, Cemeteries, Churches, Schools, Right of Way, and Endpoints are all scale dependent layers. If one of these layers is turned on in the Table of Contents but is not displaying, continue to zoom in until the layer displays.

Posting a Comment/Registering

To leave a comment, first you must register and/or login. If this is your first time to the Interactive Web Map, please fill out the registration form to allow your comments to be recorded. Please note that all fields are required to help the project team reach out if further action is needed. Passwords must contain a minimum of 6 characters including at least 1 numerical and 1 special character. To register and/or login either click register upon entry to the site, or click the Login icon at the top right hand side of the screen and proceed to enter your username and password, followed by clicking the login button. Once you have registered, zoom and pan to your area of interest. To leave a comment, click on the Submit Comment icon on the top right hand side of the screen. You may leave a comment as either a point or a line. When entering a comment, both the ‘Comment Type’ field and the ‘Enter Comment’ box must not be left blank or the comment will not be recorded. Once a comment has been submitted, a box will appear stating that the comment has been created and stored successfully, at this point the comment cannot be edited or deleted. The comments that you submit will be visible to you only; no other public user of this website will be able to see your comments.

When printing a map from this site, first locate the area that you want to include on the map. Then make sure all of the layers you want to show on the printed map are selected in the Table of Contents (left side of screen). Once the displayed map looks the way you would like, click the Print icon at the top right hand side of the screen. The screen will then fade slightly and depict spinning arrows. Please be patient as it can take some time to prepare the file for printing (the larger the area and the more layers turned on in the Table of Contents, the longer it will take).

To measure a distance or area on the map, select the Measure icon on the top right hand side of the screen. In the box that appears, select the unit of measurement (Feet, Meters, or Kilometers) and click on the screen at the point you want to begin measuring from. Continue clicking on the map until the blue line illustrates what you would like to measure. To finalize the measurement, either double click on the last measurement point or click the check mark in the measurement box. All measurements are approximate and will vary based on the accuracy of the points selected. Zooming in to the furthest extent possible will increase the accuracy of the measurement. To clear the measurement from the screen, click the icon of the trash can in the measurement box. To remove the measurement box from the screen, click the Measure icon on the top right hand side of the screen a second time.

Other Issues

If you experience problems not covered in the video or in this text, please email and explain the issue you are experiencing in as much detail as possible and a project team member will contact you to help resolve the issue.
