Texas company wants to export wind energy here

A texas company is planning to build a high-voltage electricity transmission line linking the wind farms of west Texas to the deep South. The line would enter Mississippi near Vicksburg and run through the middle of Mississippi terminating north of Columbus. The company, Pattern Development, would pay for the transmission line at no cost to Mississippi ratepayers, giving us access to inexpensive wind energy and lowering electricity bills.
